How can I join open beta testing?

Dataforensics periodically allows users to beta test experimental releases of pLog. Before joining an open beta test, please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee that any field data collected with the application will be accurately collected and uploaded. Please use at your own risk.

To opt into beta testing updates, complete the following steps on the tablet that you wish to install beta testing updates on:

1. Open the Google Play Store app
2. At the top right, tap the profile icon
3. Tap Manage apps & devices > Installed
4. Tap "pLog" to open its details page
5. Under "Join the beta," tap Join > Join

After completing these steps, it will take several hours for a beta release version to become available. If no version of pLog are currently in beta testing, you will not receive an update until they are released.

To leave beta testing, complete the following steps on your device:

1. Open the Google Play Store app
2. At the top right, tap the profile icon
3. Tap Manage apps & devices > Installed
4. Find "pLog" and tap it to open its details page
5. Under "You're a beta tester," tap Leave > Leave
6. Uninstall and reinstall pLog to revert back to the production version. Please note that any data you collected may be lost if you do not create backup data
